NEW BRIGHT Battery Operated New Beetle (2000) These cars are 1/16 in scale and have motors powered by two AA batteries. Back of box graphic shows the radio-controlled version (#61636) but this version is not radio-controlled and does not have the rails as in the other version. Also, the tires are not marked "Goodyear" in white as in the radio-controlled version.

It can only go forward but will climb obstacles fairly well - far better than the 35 ° inclines claimed on the package. This vehicle has also been released in several different packages.
